Marina Bay Sands hosted professional golfer Lily Muni He for a youth engagement session centered on resilience, self-belief, and personal development at the Sands Theatre.
The event was held under the resort’s "In Conversation With" series and brought together aspiring athletes and young adults from community organizations.
The session brought together young athletes from the Singapore Golf Association and LLD Sports, alongside participants from Access Singapore. It marked the first time youth from Access Singapore—a social mobility charity supporting disadvantaged young people through mentorship and career exposure—participated in the dialogue series.
Ms. He, who has served as a Sands Champion Ambassador since September 2024, works with parent company Las Vegas Sands Corp to promote women's golf and participate in youth community initiatives.
During the dialogue, Ms. He shared her journey from amateur golf to the LPGA Tour, detailing the pressures and obstacles of competing at the highest level of professional sport.

“As athletes, we spend a lot of time focusing on results, but success is rarely a straight path. There will be setbacks, challenges and moments of doubt,” Ms. He said. “What matters is learning from them, staying true to who you are, and continuing to move forward even when things don’t go as planned.” |
Launched in 2014, Marina Bay Sands’ “In Conversation With” initiative has held nearly 50 events featuring leaders across sports, entertainment, business, and the arts.
The initiative functions as part of Sands Cares, the casino resort's broader community outreach program. Sands Cares focuses on community resilience, hospitality talent development, cultural and natural heritage preservation, and crisis support.
