Maekyung Media Group and KPGA held an agreement ceremony to host the 2025 Maeil Economy and KPGA Golf Expo at Maekyung Media Center in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 5th.
Maekyung Golf Expo, which was reborn in 2019 after debuting under the name of the "Korea Golf Exhibition" in 1990, has attracted attention as the largest golf fair in Korea that presents the present, future and development direction of the golf industry every year.
Next year, the KPGA, the center of Korean men's golf, will join the Maekyung Golf Expo. Chairman Kim expressed his expectation, saying, "KPGA is confident that it will be able to create content that can provide the highest value to KPGA members through the Maekyung and KPGA Golf Expo."
As detailed as the new name is expected to attract attention. The Maekyung and KPGA Golf Expo, which was held every spring, will be held at COEX B Hall in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul from February 7-9 next year. In particular, RX, the organizer of the U.S. PGA Show, which gives a glimpse of trends in the global golf market every January, is expected to improve the quality of the event.
KPGA players and members will join to maximize the experience of visitors. It is planning a variety of side events with players, including golf lessons hosted by KPGA members and conversations with KPGA Tour Legends. In addition, the exhibition will discover the latest golf trends and technological innovations and provide a place for general customers and golf industry officials to experience.
During the event, educational conferences will be held for KPGA members, including KPGA Class A professionals (golf instructors). In addition, it provides opportunities to participate in the program for aspiring golf players participating in the KPGA Junior Golf League. In addition, it plans to develop a program that can help KPGA members develop skills and connections necessary for career development by providing an opportunity to learn golf business solutions from experts.
Chairman Kim said, "We will try to present content that can play a pivotal role in the domestic golf industry market by evenly joining KPGA members, not just for exhibitions, fairs, or product sales," adding, "We will present a new paradigm for golf exhibitions."
