Education City Golf Club (Qatar) have welcomed Karl Rowe PGA as the new 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 Education City Golf Club (ECGC)

Karl brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for golf to our club. Previously the Director of Golf,  his extensive background in the industry and a proven track record of success provided confident that Karl will lead Education City Golf Club to new heights, enhancing their offerings and providing an exceptional experience for all members, visitors, and the wider community.

About

Education City Golf Club is a unique facility in the heart of Education City, Doha, Qatar. The course consists of 33 holes (18 Holes, 9 Holes, and 6 Holes) specially crafted and designed by Jose Maria Olazábal.

The course was designed by USGA standards, with all green areas, including the fairways, greens, tees, and rough, being USGA Specifications. The golf facility covers a sizeable area of 120 Hectares adjacent to the Education City Qatar World Cup 2022 stadium.

The vision was to design, build and operate a golf facility that honours education, innovation, sustainability, research & development, and culture, ultimately becoming the vehicle that grows the game of golf in Doha, Qatar. Education City Golf Club is an all-inclusive golf course welcoming golfers and non-golfers, we encourage everyone to come and play.

At Education City Golf Club, our vision is to design, build and operate a golf facility that honours education, innovation, sustainability, research & development and culture, ultimately becoming the vehicle that grows the game of golf in Qatar. We aspire to move beyond the present and direct the future of the golf industry, by challenging traditional views and striving to make the game of golf more approachable and enjoyable to the future golfer.

In short, to encourage, stimulate and motivate the non-golfer to take up the game, whilst also delivering a world-class playing experience for the experienced golfer. Our Mission We will achieve our vision by developing a golf course and support centres of excellence to develop the abilities of individuals through investments in human capital, innovative technology, state-of-the-art facilities and partnerships with elite organisations. Thus, we will raise the competency and quality of life of those new to golf and ultimately shape the future of the game of golf, in Qatar and worldwide.
