Asian Tour Returns to Pakistan in 2025

21 January, 2025

The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) has officially announced the return of the prestigious Asian Development Tour (ADT) to Pakistan, marking a significant milestone in the country’s golfing history.

The first ADT championship of 2025 will take place at the esteemed Rumanza Golf and Country Club in Multan, known for its exceptional facilities and beautiful layout. This event signifies the ADT's return to Pakistan since its last edition in Lahore in October 2019. The PGF's dedicated efforts to promote professional golf have established Pakistan as a key destination for international tournaments.

In a groundbreaking development, Pakistan will also host two additional ADT events in 2025: the CNS Open Golf Championship and the Pakistan Open Golf Championship, both scheduled for September. These tournaments will further strengthen the country’s position on the global golfing stage. The realization of these events has been made possible through the unwavering support of Rumanza Golf and Country Club and DHA, Multan.

The PGF President expressed his enthusiasm, stating that hosting multiple ADT events in a single year is a remarkable achievement that enhances Pakistan’s status as a top golfing destination. He also extended his gratitude to the Asian Tour and sponsors for their invaluable support. The ADT events promise to elevate Pakistan’s golfing profile and provide a platform for both local and international talent to shine.
