Gurugram (Delhi NCR), India – Golf enthusiasts in India are in for a world-class experience as Japan’s iconic golf brand TSURUYA makes its much-anticipated India debut this weekend. Kizuna Sports is hosting the launch, the official distributor of TSURUYA, at Skyline Golf in Baliawas, Gurugram, on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The grand evening will mark the arrival of one of Japan’s most revered names in golf, renowned for precision, innovation, and heritage.
The launch event will begin at 7:00 pm and promises an immersive introduction to TSURUYA’s legacy. Golfers and guests will get the opportunity to experience firsthand the craftsmanship behind TSURUYA golf clubs through live demonstrations, trials, and direct interaction with the visiting Japanese team. The evening will feature competitive activities, including the longest drive and hole-in-one contests, followed by a formal product presentation and a celebratory dinner and cocktail session.
In continuation of the celebrations, TSURUYA Demo Days will be held on June 7 and 8, providing visitors with the opportunity to test the clubs in real-time on the greens. Running in two shifts from 7 am to 12 noon and 4 pm to 9 pm, the demo sessions will showcase the engineering finesse of TSURUYA’s product lines, including AXEL, ONESIDER, and Quincy.
The launch event is strictly by invitation only, while the Demo Days are open to golf enthusiasts, allowing anyone to walk in and participate.
Participants will also get the chance to win premium TSURUYA merchandise. Prizes include a TSURUYA AXEL Golf Bag worth ₹28,000 for the longest drive, and a TSURUYA AXEL Driver worth ₹68,000 for a successful hole-in-one. All competition entries must use TSURUYA clubs only, in accordance with the brand’s international standards.
As TSURUYA prepares to bring its “Grip. Swing. Win.” philosophy to India, the launch event promises not only competitive excitement but also an exclusive cultural exchange between Japanese golfing expertise and Indian sportsmanship.
In July last year, TSURUYA Golf, one of Japan’s oldest and most respected golf equipment manufacturers, announced its entry into the Indian market during a visit by Tsuruya’s Overseas Sales Section Manager, Kazushi Kodono.
TSURUYA Golf, established in 1966, boasts a rich history of innovation and quality in golf equipment. Known for its pioneering use of lightweight materials, the company has continually evolved its product line to meet the changing needs of golfers.
Their commitment to excellence is evident in their renowned AXEL series, which includes a range of products from drivers to irons. The AXEL GF, for instance, features a full carbon face, a first for a Japanese manufacturer, offering players an unmatched combination of lightweight design and powerful performance. Other variants include Golden Prix and Onesider.
