In a landmark move set to redefine Vietnam's golf landscape, the inaugural Vietnam Golf Course Owners Summit 2025 (VNGOS 2025) will take place from October 30 to 31 at the prestigious Laguna Lăng Cô Resort. This pioneering event, focusing on the sustainable development of golf tourism and the broader golf economy, marks a new era for Vietnam as it solidifies its position as a premier golf destination in Asia.
The summit is the first official forum where golf course owners, government leaders, and international experts will converge to establish a unified vision, set industry standards, and chart a long-term strategic roadmap for 2025-2030 and beyond. It is a foundational milestone aimed at affirming golf's role as a strategic driver within the nation's tourism ecosystem.
With Vietnam's tourism sector experiencing significant growth—welcoming nearly 14 million international visitors in the first eight months of the year—golf tourism has emerged as a key economic catalyst. It attracts high-spending visitors, extends their stays, and creates a ripple effect across accommodation, dining, real estate, and employment. VNGOS 2025 was created to meet the urgent need for a unified strategy to capitalize on this potential, focusing on standardizing services, aligning infrastructure, and developing a sustainable plan.

The event is organized under the governance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hue City People's Committee, with support from key national and local tourism and sports bodies.
54 The Global Sports and Entertainment Agency is the managing and executing partner.
The summit is a key part of Wellness Tourism Week and the National Tourism Year in Hue 2025 - Vietnam Golf Festival.

Following the summit, the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) will hold its conference and golf tournament at Laguna Lăng Cô Golf Club, further solidifying the event’s regional significance. The venue itself, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, is celebrated for its commitment to environmental preservation, making it the perfect setting for a sustainability-focused summit.
