Al Mouj Golf, one of the Middle East's most esteemed golf courses, has announced plans for a stunning new clubhouse facility, further solidifying its reputation as a premier destination in the region. The development, scheduled to open in early 2026, marks the latest phase of the venue's ambitious transformation under its new management partnership with Troon International.
Since joining forces in January 2024, Al Mouj Golf has been committed to elevating every aspect of the member and guest experience. The new clubhouse is a major part of this commitment, designed to match the world-class quality of the course itself, which was designed by Greg Norman.
"We firmly believe that we have one of the region’s best golf courses, and in today’s golf industry, you need incredible facilities as well," said Nasser Al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat. "For this reason, we are thrilled to be opening a clubhouse worthy of our course next year. Investing in the best possible facilities is key to elevating our member and guest experience.”

The new facility will serve as a central hub for a diverse range of sporting and leisure activities. In addition to serving the existing 18-hole championship course, the clubhouse will be situated next to a new two-tier, Toptracer-powered driving range. The building will also feature five indoor padel courts and a fully equipped gym, offering a comprehensive sports experience for members and visitors.
Beyond the sporting amenities, the clubhouse will feature well-stocked retail outlets, versatile event spaces, and a restaurant managed by one of the region’s leading food and beverage franchises, ensuring a premium experience both on and off the course.
DJ Flanders, Executive Vice President of Troon International, praised the development, stating, “Al Mouj Golf is an incredibly special venue and deserves to have one of the best clubhouses in the Middle East, and from 2026 that’s exactly what it will have.”
This new investment not only strengthens Al Mouj Golf's position as a regional leader but also aligns with Oman's broader vision to enhance its tourism and sports offerings on the world stage.
