Golf Industry Association Brings Premier Golf & Turf Summit to Hyderabad

30 October, 2025

The Golf Industry Association (GIA) is set to host the 12th Golf & Turf Summit & Expo 2025 in Hyderabad, marking the first time the prestigious event has been held in South India. The summit, a premier gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and experts, will take place on October 30 and 31 at the renowned Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club.

This year, the GIA is positioning golf not just as a sport, but as a catalyst for economic growth, real estate innovation, and tourism in the region. The two-day event aims to unite stakeholders from golf, turf management, real estate, and government to explore golf's role in shaping Hyderabad’s future development and showcasing the city's emerging projects to a global audience.

Key Focus: Sustainability, Business, and Development

The Summit's agenda is packed with high-value sessions designed to enhance the industry's expertise and profitability.

  • Global Expertise & Sustainability: Keynote speakers from India and abroad will share best practices on turf management, maintenance innovations, and eco-conscious solutions for modern golf course upkeep, prioritizing sustainability.
  • Greenkeepers & Course Managers Forum: A dedicated platform for greenkeepers and course superintendents from top clubs nationwide to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and explore new techniques to boost turf quality and operational efficiency.
  • Golf Club Management & Business Solutions: Sessions will focus on the operational and financial health of clubs, covering topics like member engagement and financial sustainability to help facilities operate more profitably.
  • Employment & Industry Development: The GIA will spotlight the industry's role in generating employment across various sectors, from turf maintenance and hospitality to real estate and tourism.

Integrating Golf with Hyderabad's Future

A major objective is to encourage real estate developers and CREDAI members to explore the integration of golf spaces—whether 6-hole, 9-hole, or full 18-hole courses—within their residential and commercial developments.

"Integrating golf spaces not only enhances property value but also contributes to healthier, more sustainable communities," said a GIA spokesperson.

Discussions will also center on potential tie-ups with government and tourism departments to actively promote golf as a driver for local tourism and economic expansion.

The Golf & Turf Summit 2025 will feature product showcases, technical sessions, live demonstrations, and extensive networking opportunities, providing an insider’s view into the dynamic ecosystem of one of the world’s fastest-growing recreational industries.

The Golf Industry Association (GIA) is dedicated to promoting and strengthening the golf ecosystem in India by fostering a sustainable and inclusive platform that supports growth, learning, and opportunity across golf course management, turf care, and real estate.
