Shenzhen will once again turn pink this week as the Aramco China Championship shines a vital spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness. Taking place at Mission Hills Golf Club from Thursday to Saturday, the event marks the finale of the Golf Saudi-backed PIF Global Series, sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, when 1,095 mammograms were donated to the Shenzhen community through a partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Center, Golf Saudi will elevate its commitment in 2025 with a program of initiatives designed to raise awareness, promote early detection, and empower women’s health across the region.
The 2025 Aramco China Championship will feature the following initiatives:
These efforts build on a powerful legacy established in 2024, when the tournament first introduced a series of meaningful activations, including:
As part of Golf Saudi’s ongoing commitment to social impact through sport, the Aramco China Championship has become a powerful platform for Breast Cancer Awareness. By uniting players, fans, and partners under a shared cause, the tournament uses the global stage of women’s golf to highlight the importance of early detection, education, and support for those affected.
Through initiatives such as Birdies for Mammograms, Pink Saturday, and its partnership with Vista-SK International Medical Center, Golf Saudi is helping to fund essential screenings while inspiring conversations that can save lives. The event not only celebrates the strength and resilience of women but also reinforces the message that sport can drive real and lasting change in communities.
The activations taking place at the Aramco China Championship are a great example of social and community work being showcased through the LET Sustainability Initiative, which is about using the power of our tournaments to participate and showcase action and innovation across a range of priority issues such as environmental responsibility, community engagement, and working towards achieving tournament climate neutrality.
