Viya Golf Expands Partnership with European Tour Destinations, Adding Key Abu Dhabi Venues

1 December, 2025

Enhanced Expertise and Global Access for Members

The expanded partnership provides significant operational and marketing benefits to all five Viya venues. They will gain access to ETD expertise in areas such as tournament strategy, global marketing, operational development, guest experience, and long-term planning. Viya teams will also benefit from year-round development through ETD workshops and conferences.

Crucially, members of the Viya clubs will enjoy preferred access to leading destinations across the European Tour Destinations network, including:

  • Marco Simone Golf & Country Club (Italy) – Former Ryder Cup venue.
  • Le Golf National (France) – Former Ryder Cup venue.
  • Camiral Golf & Wellness (Spain) – 2031 Ryder Cup host venue.
  • La Hacienda Links Golf Resort (Spain) and Terre Blanche Hotel Spa & Golf Resort (France).

This collaboration substantially enhances the global reach and intrinsic value of a Viya membership.

Viya Golf has significantly strengthened its affiliation with European Tour Destinations (ETD) by adding two premier championship venues in Abu Dhabi to the exclusive global network.

The expansion welcomes the renowned Yas Links Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, extending Viya’s existing partnership, which already included three of Dubai’s most prominent courses: Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Resort, and Jumeirah Golf Estates.

Abu Dhabi Jewels Join the Network

The newly added venues are celebrated golfing landmarks in the UAE:

  • Yas Links Abu Dhabi: Host to the DP World Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, this course is recognized as a World Top 100 venue and the Middle East's home of links golf. It is lauded for its world-class design, exceptional playing surfaces, and authentic coastal challenge.
  • Saadiyat Beach Golf Club: A luxury beachfront destination and the first Audubon-certified course in the UAE. It is praised for its commitment to sustainability, offering a refined playing experience with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, making it one of the country’s most scenic and environmentally conscious venues.

Driving International Development and Member Value

Christopher May, CEO of Viya, emphasized the strategic importance of this development.

“Expanding our relationship with European Tour Destinations through the addition of Yas Links Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club represents an important step in the continued international development of our portfolio," May said. "This expansion also brings meaningful benefits to our members by providing access to a wider network of world class destinations and enriching the overall value of their club experience.”

Ian Knox, Head of European Tour Destinations, highlighted that the addition creates one of the most comprehensive collections of member venues within the network.

"Viya has consistently demonstrated a clear commitment to world-class experiences across its venues... the addition of these two acclaimed Abu Dhabi courses creates one of the most comprehensive collections of member venues within our portfolio," Knox stated. He added that it provides an "excellent motivation for members from across the network to visit the United Arab Emirates and experience the very best of this exceptional golfing destination.”
