The Junior Dubai Desert Classic is back for its third edition taking place from January 10-12, 2025 at the Emirates Golf Club - This year’s tournament is especially exciting because it has officially earned World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) status for the first time!
In partnership with the Emirates Golf Federation, the tournament will welcome boys and girls aged 18 and under. With the first two rounds of the Junior Dubai Desert Classic will be played under the lights on the Faldo Course before cutting down to the top 40 players for the final round on the beautiful Majlis Course.
This all happens just days before the Hero Dubai Desert Classic kicks off its 36th edition from January 16-19, featuring some of the world’s best golfers.
A major change this year is that players will compete over 54 holes instead of the usual 36, which means they’ll have a better shot at earning those valuable WAGR® points.
Participants will compete for a variety of exciting prizes and unique experiences including invites to the Faldo Series Grand Final, Shubhankar Sharma Junior Series Final, and the JAGA Grand Final. There are also chances to join the Hero Dubai Desert Classic Star Player demo, previously led by stars like Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood.
