About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at Nexus Golf Karambunai’ as an Assistant Sales Manager (Golf Club). In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales and achieving revenue targets for the resort’s golf club operations. The role is based in Sepanggar Sabah.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote the golf club’s products and services
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including golfers, corporate accounts, and event organisers
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate and participate in golf events, tournaments, and marketing activities to attract new business
- Analyse sales data and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager, identifying trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns that showcase the golf club’s unique offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to all golf club members and guests
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the golf or hospitality industry
- Ability to play golf is an added advantage, with a good understanding of golf course operations and functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
- Proficient in using sales and marketing tools, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Passion for the golf industry and a commitment to providing a exceptional customer experience
