Arab Golf Federation Reappoints Yasir Al-Rumayyan as President

The Arab Golf Federation's General Assembly has reappointed H.E. Yasir bin Othman Al-Rumayyan as President for the term 2025–2029. This decision was made during a meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, coinciding with the Pan Arab Championship, which gathered representatives from various Arab golf federations and members of the Executive Committee.

H.E. Al-Rumayyan commenced the meeting by welcoming the delegations and expressing pride in Saudi Arabia's role as the host. This diverse group is expected to form a solid foundation for the Federation's upcoming phase of development.

Future Directions
Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Sports Federations, outlined the election procedures consistent with the governing regulations. The General Assembly unanimously agreed that the renewal of confidence in H.E. Al-Rumayyan signifies recognition of his impactful initiatives, which have significantly advanced Arab golf, including the establishment of the unified-ranking Arab Golf Series and the Elite Scholarship Program.
