Championship Golf Comes to Dalaman Coast TÜRKIYE

15 January, 2026

A major transformation of the Turkish golf landscape is set for June 2026 with the opening of a new 18-hole championship course at the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa.

Designed by the International Design Group (IDG), the par-72 layout will be the first of its kind on the Dalaman Coast, establishing a new hub for international golf tourism outside the traditional strongholds of Belek and Bodrum.

A Coastal Masterpiece

The course is situated just 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport, nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dalaman River. Spanning 6,152 meters from the back tees, the layout is built on natural sandy soil, utilizing sustainable practices to protect the region’s well-preserved ecosystem.

Key Features of the New Facility:

  • Championship Layout: 18 holes, par-72, featuring sweeping Mediterranean views.
  • World-Class Practice Areas: Includes a full driving range, putting green, and a dedicated short-game area.
  • Clubhouse Amenities: A premium clubhouse with a restaurant and a "halfway house" for mid-round refreshments.
  • Natural Integration: The design coexists with local flora and the lakes that serve as stopovers for migratory birds.

Strategic Vision for Türkiye

General Manager Umit Yasar Atalay emphasized that the project is more than just a resort addition. "Our vision is to create an environmentally conscious, nature-integrated golf course that... positions Türkiye where it rightfully belongs in the global golf tourism arena," Atalay stated. The club aims to host professional international tournaments in the near future.

Beyond the Fairway

The Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa, which originally opened in 2009, offers an ultra-all-inclusive luxury experience. Guests will have access to:

  • Luxury accommodations, including Lake House suites.
  • Diverse dining options showcase local and international cuisines.
  • Year-round access to the region’s unique climate and private beaches.
