DigiPlus' BingoPlus Hails International Series Philippines as Catalyst for National Sports Development

29 November, 2025

Philippines-listed DigiPlus Interactive Corp has lauded the recent International Series Philippines (ISP) golf tournament, presented by its flagship brand BingoPlus, as a powerful platform for national sports development and nation-building.

The ISP, which is part of golf’s prestigious Asian Tour and was held in late October, was highlighted by DigiPlus as a success not only for the sport but also for its broader social commitment.

Pioneering a World-Class Sports Destination

Eusebio Tanco, Chairman of DigiPlus Interactive Corp, expressed immense pride in spearheading the event.

"We are proud to have championed the inaugural International Series Philippines," Tanco stated. "This prestigious event is an affirmation that we created a new milestone for our country as a premier world-class sports destination."

Tanco emphasized that the tournament's significance extended beyond merely expanding golf's domestic reach and enhancing the country's global standing. He stressed that the event provided a crucial opportunity for the company, through the BingoPlus Foundation, to support and empower the local sports community actively.

PHP17.2 Million in Donations Supports Athletes and Grassroots

The gaming group's social development arm, the BingoPlus Foundation, used the tournament to uphold its commitment to sports development by handing over substantial donations to key partners.

In total, the Foundation turned over PHP17.2 million (approximately US$292,464) to various organizations.

  • Philippine Sports Commission (PSC): A major PHP8-million donation was given to the PSC, which the Foundation stated reinforces its long-term commitment to strengthening the country’s athletic programs and empowering Filipino athletes to excel globally.
  • PSC Commissioner Fritz Gaston noted that the donation would be "utilised to support our youth, starting from the grassroots."
  • National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP): A commitment of US$50,000 was made to the NGAP.
  • Asian Development Tour (ADT): A donation of US$100,000 was extended to the ADT. The partnership with the ADT is set to guarantee a Filipino golfer a coveted slot in the prestigious International Series, providing a direct pathway for local talent to the global stage.
  • Sisidlan Rizal Weavers: A non-sports donation of PHP500,000 was also given to the local artisans, aiming to support them in maintaining their business and advocacy.

DigiPlus concluded that the event and the Foundation's support underscore the group's dedication to elevating Philippine sports and inspiring a new generation of athletes.
