The International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) is gearing up for an exciting lineup of golf tourism sales conventions across three continents next year.

In 2025, IAGTO will host its conventions in the fantastic locations of Danang (Vietnam), Gran Canaria (Spain), and Alabama (US). They just announced all three events at once, and here’s what you can look forward to:

11th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) in Danang, Vietnam, from April 2-4, 2025
3rd IAGTO European Convention (IEC) in Gran Canaria, Spain, from May 19-21, 2025
16th North America Golf Tourism Convention (NAC) in Birmingham, Alabama, from June 17-19, 2025

Since its founding in 1997, IAGTO has been the go-to organization for the global golf tourism industry. With over 2,200 member companies in 92 countries—including 662 golf tour operators in 68 countries—they account for more than 90% of all golf vacation packages sold worldwide.

Peter Walton, IAGTO’s Chief Executive, expressed pride in hosting the most productive and enjoyable golf tourism conventions in the industry. He emphasized that each event is tailored to highlight the unique destinations in that region, attracting both local and international golf tour operators eager to explore those areas.

Walton also shared some impressive feedback: 97% of supplier delegates reported having meetings likely to lead to new business, with 43% of all meetings being with potential new clients.

To top it all off, IAGTO is launching a campaign to welcome new members from the world of golf travel—think golf resorts, hotels, courses, destination management companies, tour operators, and travel advisors.
