Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Daily Scheduling
- Assist the Caddy Master in arranging daily caddie schedules, training, supervision.
- Arrange caddie assignments based on tee schedules and ensure punctual deployment.
- Manage unexpected situations such as last-minute leave, weather disruptions (rain delays/closures), tournament / peak hour adjustments, customer complaints and caddie safety issues.
2.On-Site Operations Support
- Assist in course patrols, handling on-site issue and supervise caddie service quality, etiquette, and uniform appearance.
- Handle guest feedback or on-site incidents promptly to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Assist in VIP reception and premium guest service.
3.Training and Guidance Support
- Train and guide new caddies on golf course rules, distance calling, green reading, cart driving, as well as service etiquette and communication skills.
- Conduct on-course inspections and provide immediate corrections on posture, professionalism, divot repair, ball mark fixing, and proper service procedures.
- Monitor the performance of trainee caddies and provide timely feedback and evaluations.
4.Inventory and Administrative Duties
- Responsible for managing caddie room and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining records and report such as daily devlopment records, caddie assignment tracking and monthly reports for payroll processing.
- Act as a communication bridge between the supervisor and caddies to convey various announcements and arrangements.
5.Event and Ad-Hoc Support
- Assist the supervisor with special arrangements for tournaments, VIP receptions, and large-scale events.
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in hospitality, sports management, or related field is an advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in golf operations or caddie management preferred.
- Familiarity with golf course layouts and rules is essential.
- Strong leadership, problem solving and people management skills.
- Willing to work shift, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic English and Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin is an advantage.
