About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager Golf Club to join our team at Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns (A member of OSK Group) in Perak. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of our prestigious golf club, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide strategic leadership and vision to ensure the long-term success and growth of the golf club
• Oversee all aspects of golf club operations, including course management, customer experience, events and tournaments, and financial performance
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new members and increase revenue
• Manage and motivate a team of golf professionals, course maintenance staff, and customer service personnel
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with the hotel management team to align golf club activities with the broader resort operations
• Engage with the local community and golf associations to build strategic partnerships and enhance the club’s reputation
• To ensure revenue growth of the Golf Club

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience (8+ years) in a similar role as a General Manager or Director of Golf at a premier golf club or resort
• Proven track record of successful revenue and membership growth, as well as operational excellence
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to foster a positive and welcoming club culture
• Solid understanding of golf course management, including agronomy, maintenance, and course design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
• To be based at Damai Laut Golf & Country Club, Perak
