Tiara Melaka ⛳Golf & Country Club is looking for an experienced and dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to lead our golf course maintenance team and ensure exceptional playing conditions for our members and guests.

Vacancy : One (1) vacant position based in Tiara Melaka ⛳Golf & Country Club, Jalan Gapam, Bukit Katil PO Box 473, 75760 Melaka.

What You’ll Do :

• Plan, manage, and oversee the overall maintenance and development of the golf course to ensure exceptional course conditioning, playability, safety, and aesthetics in accordance with the Club’s standards.
• Lead all aspects of turfgrass management, including mowing, fertilization, aeration, weed control, bunker maintenance, and the implementation of comprehensive turf management programmes.
• Monitor, operate, and maintain the golf course irrigation system to ensure optimal water distribution and healthy turf growth. This includes scheduling irrigation cycles, adjusting sprinkler heads, and troubleshooting system issues.
• Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes to prevent and control turf pests and diseases through regular inspections, appropriate treatments, and proper record-keeping.
• Oversee landscape maintenance, including the care of trees, shrubs, flower beds, and other green areas to enhance the overall beauty and presentation of the golf course.
• Manage the maintenance, servicing, and repair of golf course machinery, turf equipment, and construction equipment, while ensuring efficient budget utilization for equipment procurement and upkeep.
• Prepare maintenance plans, operational reports, records, and annual budgets.
• Lead, coach, and supervise the grounds maintenance team to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety practices and environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Work closely with Club Management to continuously improve the overall golfing experience.

What We’re Looking For :

✅Experience in golf course maintenance, with proven leadership experience in managing golf course operations.

✅Strong knowledge of turfgrass management, irrigation systems, agronomy, landscape maintenance, and golf course equipment.

✅Good understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
