Role Overview
Are you a young aspiring digital marketer who is passionate about sports, fitness, and the lifestyle?
Do you have a creative eye for content and a knack for social media? We are looking for an energetic, hands-on Marketing Assistant / Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will work and report directly under our Head of Marketing, executing daily marketing tasks and bringing our brand to life across various platforms. The primary focus of this role is creative execution—specifically video editing, image creation, and social media management. Key Responsibilities
- Platform Specialization: Own and grow our presence on Chinese social media, specifically Xiaohongshu (RedNote), by tailoring content. RedNote Ads is an added bonus as we’re looking for someone to help us manage RedNote Ads.
- Content Creation & Editing: Create eye-catching images and edit engaging, high-quality videos optimized for social media platforms.
- Social Media Management: Manage daily postings, capture on-the-go Instagram Stories, take high-quality photos, and engage with our community.
- Campaign Support: Assist the Marketing Manager with daily executional tasks, campaign rollouts, and general marketing needs.
- Data & Analytics: Occasionally assist with performance marketing reporting, tracking metrics, and analyzing data to help optimize future campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Manager, actively incorporating feedback and strategic guidance to continuously improve your work and grow your skills.
- Ad Hoc Support: Handle additional tasks as assigned by management and the Marketing Manager to support the team’s evolving needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Ideally 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management (passionate candidates with strong portfolios but less experience will also be considered).
- Platform Savvy: Hands-on experience navigating/growing a brand on Xiaohongshu (RedNote) and understanding of Instagram trends.
- Language Skills: Ideally trilingual—fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to effectively manage regional platforms and communication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mobile/desktop video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
- Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable taking creative direction.
