TOKYO - Kolon FnC, the fashion division of Kolon Industries, is aggressively scaling its presence in the Japanese luxury market. The company announced on March 16, 2026, the opening of a new G/FORE storefront in Omotesando Hills, one of Tokyo’s most prestigious luxury shopping destinations.
The new location, which officially opened its doors on March 11, marks a strategic pivot in how the brand is positioned within the region. While most golf apparel is relegated to sports-specific floors, G/FORE has secured a prime spot on the second-floor fashion level, placing it alongside global high-end contemporary labels.
This expansion follows the brand's successful entry into the Japanese market last year with a debut at Ginza Six. The move to Omotesando Hills—a "shopping mecca" designed by architect Tadao Ando—signals Kolon FnC’s intent to move beyond the green and establish G/FORE as a comprehensive luxury lifestyle brand.
"The brand's potential and performance confirmed locally in Japan since last year led to this Omotesando Hills store expansion," a G/FORE official stated. "We will continue to offer G/FORE's unique and original brand experience and solidify our position as a luxury lifestyle brand across Asia, beyond Japan."
The rapid growth is fueled by an exclusive master license agreement signed in November 2024. Under this deal, Kolon FnC secured the rights to lead G/FORE’s business operations in both Japan and China.
Since the Spring/Summer (S/S) 2025 season, the company has been executing a "One Asia" strategy, launching strategic flagship stores in key commercial districts to capture the growing demand for premium "K-fashion" influenced golf wear.
