Laguna Golf Phuket, situated within Asia’s premier integrated resort destination, Laguna Phuket, has strengthened its leadership and coaching teams with the appointment of two key professionals: Stephen Chick as General Manager and Asmitha Sathish as Assistant PGA Professional.

New General Manager: Stephen Chick

PGA Professional Stephen Chick takes the helm as the new General Manager, bringing with him a wealth of international golf management experience.

• Background: Chick is a British PGA Professional with over 15 years of experience in the golf industry, spanning the UK, the Middle East, China, Thailand, and Myanmar.
• Prior Role: Most recently, he was the General Manager at Pun Hlaing Golf Club in Yangon, where he achieved record growth and established the club as Myanmar's leading golf destination.
• Expertise: He is recognised for his strategic leadership, focus on service excellence, and a strong commitment to growing the game of golf throughout Southeast Asia.

Assistant PGA Professional: Asmitha Sathish

Joining the team as Assistant PGA Professional is Asmitha Sathish, a professional golfer with a strong background in instruction and competition.

• Background: Sathish is a professional golfer who has competed on both the Ladies European Tour and the WPGA Australasia Tour.
• Prior Role: She joins the resort from the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy in Indonesia, where she served as a Certified Leadbetter Golf Instructor.
• Education: Currently, she is pursuing a PGA Foundation Degree in Professional Golf Studies and Business Management from the University of Birmingham in the UK.
