
LIV Golf has announced a major strategic expansion into the East Asian market, headlined by the appointment of Martin Kim as Regional Managing Director for Korea & East Asia and General Manager of the newly rebranded Korean Golf Club.
The move signals a significant push to integrate LIV’s signature blend of "world-class performance, entertainment, and culture" into the high-growth Asian market. The league’s new leadership structure is designed to strengthen local connections and scale commercial opportunities across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Martin Kim, a seasoned executive with over a decade of experience across MLB and e-sports, will lead the charge in South Korea. Kim is a familiar face in the region, formerly serving as the interpreter for MLB star Ryu Hyun-jin during his tenure with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
