
Hanoi, Vietnam – July 18, 2025 – Australian golfer Greg Norman has officially been re‑appointed as Vietnam’s Tourism Ambassador for the 2025–2030 term, continuing his pivotal role in promoting Vietnam as a premier global destination for golf tourism and beyond .
Since his first appointment in 2018, Norman has helped elevate Vietnam’s profile in global golf travel:
Guided Vietnam to win “Asia’s Best Golf Destination” eight times consecutively, and “World’s Best Golf Destination” in 2019 and 2021 at the World Golf Awards
Acted as the face of golf tourism in international media, including CNN, CNBC, Golf Magazine, and Golf Digest, raising global awareness of Vietnam’s golf infrastructure and scenic beauty
Promoted sustainable design and hosted promotional content on platforms such as CNBC Asia and CNN
As founder of Greg Norman Golf Course Design, Norman has left his imprint on some of Vietnam’s most acclaimed golf courses:
