
The PGA of America has established a strategic partnership with two prominent golf facility operators in Vietnam: Silk Path Golf & Country Club and Everygolf Vietnam. Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club, a Faldo Signature Design located in Dong Trieu City near Hanoi, opened in January and will serve as the site for the first PGA of America Golf Academies in Vietnam. This 18-hole public facility aims to enhance player engagement through programs specifically designed for beginners and junior golfers.
The newly constructed academy and its associated practice areas will also be available to local golf professionals, providing them access to PGA of America’s educational resources and pathways.
Additionally, the PGA of America has collaborated with Everygolf, a leading provider of indoor golf simulator studios in Vietnam. This partnership will leverage cutting-edge golf technology for coaching and entertainment in urban centers. Currently, two studio locations in Hanoi support six local teaching professionals, who will be introduced to PGA of America membership opportunities as part of this partnership.
Sean Thornberry, PGA of America’s Director of Global Development, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "Their leadership team’s enthusiasm to partner with the PGA of America is a result of our shared mission to support the long term growth of our sport.
‘This new alliance will be a catalyst for the implementation of player engagement programs in Vietnam and the opportunity for the Association to spearhead the development of our game in such a rapidly growing international golf market.”

The PGA of America now boasts branded golf facility partnerships in eight countries, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Morocco, India, China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
