Philippines, Hann Reserve Appoints Rousseau as Director of Golf

26 August, 2025

Hann Reserve has named experienced golf management professional Clément Rousseau as its new Director of Golf, strengthening its leadership team ahead of the highly anticipated launch of its first course in early 2026.

Part of IMG’s global golf management portfolio, Hann Reserve is set to feature three signature courses in New Clark City, positioning itself as one of the world’s most exciting new golf destinations. The opening layout, Dragons Landing by Nicklaus Design, will be followed by designs from Sir Nick Faldo and KJ Choi.

Beyond its golf offering, Hann Reserve will also introduce luxury hotels operated by leading international brands, casinos, retail experiences, and an international educational facility, creating a comprehensive lifestyle and leisure hub in the Philippines.

Rousseau brings extensive international experience, including time with IMG at Michlifen Golf & Resort in Morocco, recently named Africa’s best golf resort. At Hann Reserve, he will oversee golf operations in close partnership with IMG and Tim Neil, the resort’s General Manager.

“I’m very excited to be back with the IMG family and in Southeast Asia, where the golf culture is truly fascinating,” said Rousseau. “Hann Reserve is an incredible project, and I’m honoured to contribute to this new chapter of golf in the Philippines.”

Neil added: “In Clément, we have found an excellent golf operator who will ensure a best-in-class golf experience at Hann Reserve. His success across Europe, North Africa, and Southeast Asia means he is exceptionally well-placed to attract golfers from around the world to our property.”

Russell Hannah, Vice President of IMG Golf Course Services, commented: “We could not ask for a stronger senior team for Hann Reserve. In Tim and Clément, we have two experienced professionals with global expertise and proven networks. We look forward to the world experiencing this landmark destination when it opens in early 2026.”
