South Korea Golf Management Partners with Golfzon Cloud for Digital Transformation

The Korea Golf Course Management Association (KGCMA) and Golfzon Cloud have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to drive the digital transformation and structural innovation of South Korea's golf course industry (K-golf). The agreement was announced on October 1st.

Key Partnership Goals

This strategic partnership is focused on shifting member courses from analog-based operations to modern digital systems to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key areas of collaboration include:

  • Digital Operations: Joint cooperation on providing stable IT solutions and technical support for golf course management.
  • Industry Data: Sharing user-type statistics from Golfzon Cloud to analyze golfer trends.
  • Industry White Paper: Collaborative research for the production of the KGCMA's "Golf Industry White Paper," leveraging the shared data to document the current state and future direction of K-golf.

Choi Dongho, KGCMA Chairman, stated the agreement is expected to help member golf courses achieve digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ahn Wonik, CEO of Golfzon Cloud, affirmed their commitment to supporting the K-golf industry's development based on data and IT solutions, noting the collaboration should lead to greater competitiveness across the sector.
