Strengthening Cooperation in Asia: Acushnet's Strategic Appointment

Acushnet Company, the parent organization of golf brands Titleist and FootJoy (FJ), has appointed Choi Inyong as Regional President of Acushnet Asia. Choi, who is currently the CEO of Acushnet Korea, will oversee strategic growth initiatives across key Asian markets.

On November 5, Acushnet Company announced, "We have taken note of the rapidly evolving golf market across Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia," and emphasized the need for "strategic and efficient growth in this market."

Choi Inyong holds a degree from the University of Missouri and is an alumnus of the San Diego Golf Academy. He joined Acushnet Korea in 2006, became its CEO in 2019, and was appointed President of Titleist Apparel in January 2024. In his new role, Choi will manage both Titleist and FootJoy in the Asia region while continuing his current responsibilities.

With Choi’s leadership, Acushnet aims to enhance collaboration among vital markets such as Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The company plans to implement region-specific strategies designed for dedicated golfers in Asia, ultimately establishing a solid foundation for long-term brand growth in the region.
