Key improvements to the course include:
Yong Fan Wee, Director of Agronomy, noted the internal effort behind the project:
“These enhancements were carried out entirely by our own team, reflecting our long-term commitment to quality and playability. Our focus has been on delivering smoother fairways, well-defined bunkers, and overall course conditioning that enhances both playability and visual appeal.”
Harris Abdullah, General Manager of The Els Club Desaru Coast, added:
“The reopening of the Ridge Course marks an important milestone for us. This improvement initiative demonstrates our ongoing dedication to elevating the golf experience, ensuring our courses remain among the finest in the region.”
The Els Club Desaru Coast remains a premier 45-hole destination, featuring the Ernie Els-designed Ocean Course and the Vijay Singh-designed Valley Course, supported by world-class practice facilities and two full-service clubhouses.
