Turkish Airlines has solidified its long-term commitment to global golf by signing a new three-year title sponsorship for the Turkish Airlines Open. The extension ensures the airline remains the title partner for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 editions of the DP World Tour event.
The 2026 tournament, featuring a $2.75 million prize fund, is set to take place from April 30 to May 3. In a notable move for the region’s golfing landscape, the event will be hosted by the National Golf Club in Antalya, located within the Regnum Hotels complex.
The Turkish Airlines Open holds a strategic position on the 2026 DP World Tour schedule. It will serve as the fifth and final tournament of the Asian Swing—the third of five Global Swings that comprise the first phase of the season.
“This tournament not only highlights the unifying power of sport, but also strongly reflects Türkiye’s vision of being a global hub for sports and tourism,” said Bilal Ekşi, CEO of Turkish Airlines. “We are delighted to welcome guests from all over the world to Antalya once again in 2026.”
The move to the National Golf Club marks the first time the venue—designed by former Ryder Cup player David Feherty and David Jones—will host the championship.
Hasan Ceylan, General Manager of National Golf Club, expressed the venue's readiness: "Hosting such a prestigious tournament is of great significance for both our course and Turkish golf as a whole. We look forward to providing players with a world-class tournament experience and highlighting Antalya’s position in world golf."
The renewal follows a historic 2025 edition at Regnum Carya, where French rookie Martin Couvra (Pic credit: Getty Images) claimed his maiden DP World Tour title with a sensational final-round 64. Couvra finished at 17-under-par, two strokes ahead of Haotong Li and Jorge Campillo.
Yıldırım Demirören, President of the Turkish Golf Federation (TGF), noted that the 2026 event "further strengthens Türkiye’s position on the global golf stage," providing essential development and ranking opportunities for national golfers and stakeholders.
