Representatives from Vinpearl and South Korean travel firms sign the MoU at the Vietnam-South Korea Business Forum
Vietnam’s leading hospitality and leisure operator, Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with three prominent South Korean travel companies – Hanatour, Marketing Highlands, and HKG Co. (formerly Hank Golf) – to drive tourism between the two countries and strengthen Vietnam’s position as a premier golf destination for South Korean travellers.
The MoU was signed during the Vietnam–South Korea Business Forum, attended by Vietnam’s General Secretary To Lam, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok, and other high-level officials, underscoring the growing economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
Under the agreement, Vinpearl and its South Korean partners will coordinate joint promotional campaigns and expand distribution networks across South Korea, with the ambitious goal of attracting five million South Korean visitors to Vietnam by 2025.
A key focus of the partnership will be golf tourism. The collaboration will promote Vinpearl’s network of international-standard golf courses to more than 46,000 South Korean golf members, while leveraging over 7,500 travel agencies in South Korea to expand access and visibility.
Vinpearl operates across Vietnam’s leading destinations – including Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Danang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City – offering a mix of luxury resorts, world-class golf courses, entertainment, and shopping experiences.
Ngo Thi Huong, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at Vinpearl, said the partnership reflects a strategic step in both tourism and golf development.
“We are confident that by leveraging Vinpearl’s exceptional infrastructure and services alongside our partners’ widespread distribution capabilities, we will develop compelling tourism products and reinforce Vietnam’s status as the preferred destination for travellers from South Korea.”
The move marks an important step in Vinpearl’s international expansion strategy and highlights Vietnam’s emergence as one of Asia’s most attractive golf tourism destinations, particularly for South Korea, which has one of the largest outbound golf travel markets in the world.
