The 11th annual World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony took take place at the stunning Savoy Palace in Funchal, Madeira. The 2024 World Golf Awards proved to be a global gathering of golf industry leaders, with pioneers and key figures flying in from all over the world.
Chris Frost, Managing Director of the World Golf Awards, shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Madeira has proven to be a magnificent host for this world-class gathering of the global golf tourism industry.”
These awards come after a year-long search to find the world’s favorite golf tourism and hospitality brands. With votes cast by golf professionals, the media, and the public, with the nominee receiving the most votes in each category declared the winner.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, which will go to Spanish golf legend Miguel Angel Jimenez.
