Yas Links Abu Dhabi has been recognized by the European Tour Group, receiving the Sustainability Award in the Venue category for its outstanding environmental and social work while hosting the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The accolade highlights the club's long-term commitment to environmental care, community engagement, and responsible resource management, operating with full GEO Certified status.

Key sustainability initiatives focus on:

• Water Management: The coastal venue irrigates all turf with treated sewage effluent and has reduced overall water consumption by 20% through audits and technology upgrades.
• Habitat Protection: Over 30 hectares of mangroves and restored dunes are protected through buffer zones and ongoing habitat management.
• Energy and Waste: The club has implemented solar-powered hot water, LED lighting, and a full fleet of electric golf carts. It has also eliminated single-use plastic bottles and strengthened recycling efforts.
