Hung Yen province in northern Vietnam has leased an additional 81 hectares of land to Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corp, the developer behind the US$1.5 billion Trump International Hung Yen golf and residential complex.
The new lease runs until May 2075. This marks the second major land allocation for the project, which will ultimately cover a total of 888 hectares and involve the relocation of several local neighborhoods.
According to provincial authorities, 86% of the development is designated for sports and recreational facilities.
Kinh Bac holds an 85% stake in the project and is developing it in partnership with The Trump Organization, led by U.S. President Donald Trump and his son Eric Trump.
The master plan features two golf courses — one with 36 holes and one with 18 holes — integrated with residential components. The development includes a residential area planned for 5,300 residents, along with a larger residential zone expected to accommodate 29,700 people. The remainder of the site will be dedicated to green spaces and parks.
At the groundbreaking ceremony in late May 2025, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, stated that the project is targeted for completion in just over two years. He highlighted the ambition for Trump International Hung Yen to become a major global golf destination.
