THANH LONG, Vietnam — On October 3, the Thanh Long Commune People's Committee, in coordination with the Cao Bang Golf Association, hosted a golf tournament celebrating the 76th anniversary of the Liberation of Cao Bang (October 3, 1950 – October 3, 2026). During the event, Bãi Tình Golf Course officially received certification recognizing it as the "First community golf course in Vietnam," awarded by Vietnam Golf & Leisure Co., Ltd. and the Vietnam Golf Association.

Spanning approximately 100 hectares, Bãi Tình Golf Course was built on the natural terrain and local grass environment, progressively developing into an 18-hole golf course.
The primary characteristic of the facility is its operational model, which involves active participation from the player community throughout its creation, maintenance, and ongoing operations. The project emphasizes preserving the natural landscape and minimizing environmental impact.
The official recognition of Bãi Tình as Vietnam's first community golf course marks a key milestone for sports infrastructure in Thanh Long Commune. Local officials view the recognition as an opportunity to promote sports integrated with community involvement and natural scenery. The initiative aims to enhance the visibility of Thanh Long's tourism potential and landscape values to visitors and golfers from across the province and beyond.
As part of the program, the golf tournament commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Liberation of Cao Bang gathered nearly 80 golfers. Participants represented the Vietnam Golf Association, the Cao Bang Golf Association, the Lang Son Golf Association, and the CBH 22 Golf Club.
Following a single day of competition at Bãi Tình Golf Course, the organizers concluded the event by awarding first, second, and third-place prizes to top-performing golfers across the tournament categories.
