Robinswood Golf Club is officially ready to welcome some of the greatest footballers to ever grace the game as the Reignwood Icons of Football kicks off this week. Legends including Gareth Bale, Gianfranco Zola, and Robbie Fowler have arrived in Pathum Thani for the much-anticipated showdown at the championship course in Lam Luk Ka, Greater Bangkok.
Located within the expansive 2,000-rai Reignwood Park development, Robinswood Golf Club will serve as the battleground from January 31 to February 1.
The event features a high-stakes, 10-hole matchplay format, pitting Team England, captained by 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett, against Team World, led by 2018 victorious European Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjørn.
The tournament brings together 24 global icons with a combined trophy cabinet featuring Champions League titles, Premier League medals, and World Cup honors.
The event offers fans a rare opportunity to see these sporting legends up close within the Reignwood Park ecosystem. The development is a premier lifestyle hub that integrates luxury residential living, the worldwide accredited KIS International School, and the Claude Harmon III Performance Golf Academy.
The academy, a centerpiece of Robinswood’s elite training infrastructure, will play a key role during the week as the footballing icons look to refine their swings under the guidance of Claude Harmon III himself.
