Miral, the powerhouse behind Abu Dhabi's most iconic leisure destinations, has officially announced that Topgolf is coming to Yas Island. The project is already well underway, with construction reaching 28% completion as of late January, and a grand opening targeted for 2026.
The development marks the second Topgolf venue in the UAE, following the massive success of its Dubai location. Developed in partnership with Viya, an authorized franchise partner of Topgolf, the new Abu Dhabi site aims to further solidify Yas Island’s reputation as a premier global hub for sports and entertainment.
The upcoming complex will span approximately 6,500 square meters of floor area, featuring a massive 19,000-square-meter outfield. Leveraging cutting-edge TopTracer technology, players will be able to track every shot in real-time, making the experience accessible for seasoned pros and first-time swingers alike.
Key features of the venue include:

The new Topgolf venue is designed as a full-service social destination. Beyond the tee line, visitors can expect:
"Topgolf embodies innovation and joy, offering an unparalleled experience for visitors of all skill levels," said Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral. "This project is a testament to our commitment to positioning Yas Island as a top global destination."
Topgolf Yas Island joins an elite list of world-class attractions, including Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World™, and SeaWorld®. It will complement the island’s existing professional golf landscape, which already features Yas Links Abu Dhabi and Yas Acres Golf and Country Club.
Christopher May, CEO of Viya, noted the expansion is a natural next step following the success in Dubai. "Since opening five years ago, Topgolf Dubai has welcomed more than 2.7 million guests and delivered over 85 million swings. We are proud to bring this next phase of growth to Abu Dhabi."
With construction moving steadily toward a 2026 finish line, golf enthusiasts and social seekers won't have to wait much longer to take their best shot on Yas Island.
