The Asian Tour is set to return to Vietnam next year with the inaugural Vietnam Golf Championship at Long Thanh Golf Club in Ho Chi Minh City.
The US$500,000 tournament will be played from 1–4 April, marking the first time the Tour has visited Vietnam in three years.
Vietnam remains a key growth market for the Asian Tour, and event promoter VFXG is eager to build on its momentum. Over the past nine years, VFXG has successfully staged a series of three-day charity golf events known as the CIFE Annual Charity Golf Tournaments—and now aims to expand its portfolio further with a landmark Tour stop.

The Asian Tour last visited Vietnam in 2023, when Kieran Vincent of Zimbabwe won the title. In recent seasons, Vietnam has also been a regular host for the Asian Development Tour, staging eight events since 2022.

Long Thanh Golf Club is a standout 36-hole resort located around 40 kilometres northeast of Ho Chi Minh City. Designed by Ronald Fream, the venue features two distinct championship layouts: the challenging Hill Course set on a plateau, and the scenic Lake Course framed by branches of the Đồng Nai River.
