Golf Industry Asia (GIA), a regional platform for industry news, executive recruitment, and trade events, has added Vietnamese and Thai language options to its digital portal. The addition expands the platform's multi-language support beyond English, catering directly to industry professionals, club operators, and commercial stakeholders across Vietnam and Thailand.
The integration of Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt) and Thai (ไทย) language options addresses the growing demand for localized business intelligence in Southeast Asia. Vietnam and Thailand represent two of the fastest-growing golf markets in the Asia-Pacific region, driven by course developments, international tourism, and expanding local participation.
By introducing localized interface and content navigation, Golf Industry Asia aims to lower communication barriers for regional facility managers, agronomists, club executives, and turf management teams. The updates allow native-language users in both countries to access trade news, industry trends, and technical insights without relying on external translation tools.
" We are trialing these two languages as a start, with a view to expand to further countries in 2027." said Co-Founder Mike Orloff. "It's important to reduce any barriers to the information we provide each week."
The market expansion reflects operational growth in both target nations. Thailand continues to maintain a high density of international-standard courses and high-volume golf tourism, supported by venue developments such as Robinswood Golf Club and Reignwood Park. Concurrently, Vietnam’s golf sector continues to expand rapidly, marked by venue developments, regulatory infrastructure updates, and industry recognitions such as the annual Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards.
By formalizing localized language support for Vietnam and Thailand, Golf Industry Asia aims to increase regional user engagement, streamline international recruitment pipelines, and provide regional suppliers with direct marketing access to non-English-speaking decision-makers across major Southeast Asian markets.
