Seehachet “Pro It” Saifon, general manager of Robinswood Golf Club in Thailand, has received the Asian Golf Industry Federation’s (AGIF) Young Leaders award. The award recognizes his leadership and overall contribution to the development and growth of golf across Asia.

The honor was presented at the AGIF Annual International Summit, hosted at the KLGCC Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Restricted to industry figures under the age of 40, the category evaluates candidates on their impact across leadership, innovation, sustainability, education, and community development.

A Background Bridging Media and Golf Operations

A professional golfer, Pro It built a career spanning over 15 years in sports and golf media, including a role as a producer with Golf Channel. He transitioned to Robinswood Golf Club in 2020 as general manager, utilizing his media background to guide operations, develop creative family activities, and support venue personnel.

Under his management, the club introduced a range of intergenerational programming and events:

• The Ambassador Cup: An event hosting international diplomats.
• Neon Night: An evening event featuring golf, family activities, and entertainment on the club's illuminated par-three course.
• Pro Golfer Engagements: Member interactions with top-tier professional golfers and access to marquee occasions like the Reignwood Icons of Football.
• Digital Outreach: Enhanced media content showcasing daily life at the club to a broader audience.

Staff Empowerment and Repertoire

Team development has been a central pillar of Pro It's operational framework, emphasizing staff autonomy, skill enhancement, and direct contribution to operational ideas.

Reflecting on the honor, Pro It shared:

“I am honoured to receive this award, but I see it as recognition of the entire team at Robinswood Golf Club.” “Throughout my career, I have believed that golf should continue to evolve, bringing fresh ideas and experiences that connect with the next generation. At Robinswood, we have an opportunity to build a golf club and a community where people and families can come together.” “What makes me most proud is seeing our team grow, take ownership and bring these ideas to life. This award belongs to everyone who has been part of that journey.”

Multi-Generational Community and Integrated Education

Situated in Lam Luk Ka in greater Bangkok, Robinswood Golf Club operates as a centerpiece of Reignwood Park—a multi-generational development combining golf, lifestyle, education, sports, and residential living.

The club works in tandem with the Claude Harmon III Performance Golf Academy Thailand and KIS International School Reignwood Park. This arrangement allows student-athletes to pursue an International Baccalaureate diploma alongside structured golf coaching, competitive training, tournament scheduling support, performance analytics, and university recruitment guidance.

The club is part of Reignwood Group’s international golf portfolio, which also includes England's Wentworth Club and China's Reignwood Pine Valley.

Executive Support

Stuart Daly, chief operating officer, highlighted Pro It's distinct management method and dedication to staff progression:

“Pro It brings a different perspective to golf club management, drawing on his experience as a golf professional and in media to find new ways to engage with members and introduce people to the game.” “Just as importantly, he invests time in the people around him. He encourages our team to develop their skills and take responsibility, and that is reflected in the experiences they deliver. This award is deserved recognition for Pro It and for the contribution he has made to Robinswood.”
