Booth Appointed Group General Manager at Green Valley Holdings

16 May, 2026

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Green Valley Holdings has officially announced the appointment of Paul Booth as its new Group General Manager.

A recognized stalwart in golf club management across Asia and the Middle East for over two decades, Booth steps into the role with more than 25 years of international experience. His extensive background spans luxury hospitality, world-class golf operations, and real estate, with a definitive track record of driving sustainable growth and community integration.

A Proven Track Record in Premium Operations

Prior to his appointment at Green Valley Holdings, Booth held multiple senior leadership roles with Troon International. His portfolio includes overseeing the Els Club Malaysia and managing high-profile operations at both Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Clubs. Most recently, he served as the General Manager at Al Hamra Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates.

Throughout his career, Booth has been instrumental in executing prestigious international golf tournaments, including:

  • The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship
  • The Bonallack Trophy (men's elite amateur team match play)
  • The Patsy Hankins Trophy (women's elite amateur team match play)

The latter two events are highly competitive Ryder Cup-style showdowns between top amateur golfers from the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation and the European Golf Association.

Driving Future Vision and Sustainability

In his new capacity, Booth will work closely with Chief Executive Officer Nathan Williamson. His primary focus will center on strengthening corporate partnerships, unlocking new market opportunities, and empowering internal teams to achieve operational excellence.

“I am delighted to take on this role and look forward to working closely with the team to build on our strong foundations and drive future growth,” said Booth.

The transition comes at a pivotal time for the organization. Green Valley Holdings continues to target the creation of an environmentally friendly, end-to-end infrastructure network for its clientele—bridging everything from sports venue construction and machinery supply to landscape maintenance and specialized sports education.

“With the infrastructure we have, we believe we can continue to be a leading organisation for many years to come, creating opportunities and making partners along the way,” the company stated in an official release.
