
SINGAPORE — Centaur Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the appointment of Rodney McKeown as Division Manager, Turf & Landscape for its Singapore operations.
Rodney brings nearly three decades of elite, hands-on experience in golf course management and turf operations to the company. He joins Centaur following a distinguished 15-year tenure as Golf Course Superintendent at the world-renowned Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, where he managed championship-level turf environments.
Rodney’s extensive background spans major agronomic and leadership roles across Southeast Asia and Europe, making him a formidable addition to the Centaur team:
His profound expertise in turf performance, plant and soil health, and large-scale on-ground operations adds incredible technical depth to Centaur’s regional capabilities.
In addition to his leadership on the course, Rodney belongs to a very select group of Soil Scout Grandmasters worldwide. In his new role, he intends to leverage this expertise to reinforce Centaur’s commitment to advancing data-driven turf management practices, utilizing real-time soil insights to optimize water efficiency and turf health.
Rodney will work closely alongside the established Centaur team to build, strengthen, and elevate turf and landscape solutions for clients across Singapore and the broader Asia Pacific region.
