
KOTA KINABALU, SABAH — The Sabah Golf & Country Club (SGCC) is entering a major new chapter as it gears up to celebrate its 50th Anniversary later this year. To kick off its Golden Jubilee preparations, the club has announced a wave of comprehensive facility enhancements, fresh sporting initiatives, and a historic leadership transition.
At its 49th Annual General Meeting held on 23 May 2026, members officially elected the club's General Committee for the 2026–2028 term. In an unprecedented milestone for SGCC since its founding in 1976, all office bearers and committee members were elected completely unopposed.
The newly appointed leadership team will be guided by President Mr. Ian Yong Wai Ching, Deputy President Datu Khalilurahman Bin Datu Khalil, and Club Captain Mr. Anthony Ho Tze Lung.
In tandem with the upcoming anniversary celebrations, SGCC is investing heavily in modernizing its infrastructure to maximize member satisfaction:
