HANOI - The Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) and Vietnam Golf & Leisure (VGL) have joined forces to launch the Vietnam Golf Industry Conference 2026, marking the event's first-ever debut in Hanoi. Scheduled for 15 September 2026 at the Grand Plaza Hanoi, the inaugural international conference arrives as Vietnam solidifies its status as one of Asia's fastest-growing golf markets.
The co-organised event brings together AGIF's regional Asia-Pacific network and VGL's nearly two decades of local industry media experience. The conference also aligns with the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2026, which celebrates 12 years of recognising top golf courses, resorts, and industry figures.
Centered on the core theme of "Tourism – Technology – Turf," the single-day conference aims to provide General Managers, Directors, and Head Superintendents with practical solutions for modern golf course operations. Sessions will feature prominent industry experts from international organisations, including The R&A, Troon, Club Car, 54, Thompson Golf Management, SMARTSCORE, Golfasian, and Sporting Insights. Discussions will focus on sustainable turf management, destination development, digital transformation, and enhancing the customer experience.
"Vietnam is one of Asia’s fastest-growing golf markets, with significant investment being made in golf developments, tourism infrastructure and world-class golf destinations," stated Chris Gray, President of AGIF. He noted that the gathering will allow decision-makers to gain deeper market insights and discuss the future of golf in the region.

To support local facilities, organisers are offering one complimentary delegate pass to every Vietnamese golf course for an Owner, Director, General Manager, or Head Superintendent. Additional registration rates range from VND 920,000 (USD 35) for domestic delegates to USD 95 for international non-members, with pass holders receiving discounted lodging at the host venue.
