Singapore's Tanah Merah CC Expands Sporting Facilities

25 April, 2026

SINGAPORE – Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC) has significantly expanded its sporting amenities with the launch of a new indoor golf simulator lounge at the Garden Course and the introduction of three new competition-grade pickleball courts. Both developments, completed in April 2026, are part of the club’s strategic effort to meet evolving member demands for technical training and social recreation.

Garden Golf Simulator Lounge

The club officially opened the Garden Golf Simulator Lounge to members and their guests on April 3, 2026, following a media preview held for industry partners and key opinion leaders.

Located at the Garden Course, the new facility features three simulator bays powered by Foresight Falcon™ technology. This system allows members to engage in mini-games or play full rounds on 100 internationally recognized courses, including Pebble Beach Golf Links, the St Andrews Old Course, and Spyglass Hill.

In addition to the simulator bays, the lounge includes a synthetic turf indoor putting green. The area is designed to accommodate four to five holes, featuring contours intended to simulate realistic ball roll for short-game practice.

Expansion of Pickleball Facilities

Simultaneously, the club has expanded its pickleball infrastructure to accommodate the sport's growing popularity. TMCC now operates a total of five courts. This includes the existing two courts located at the Multi-purpose Court in the Sports Complex and three newly constructed, competition-grade courts that opened in April 2026.

The new courts are designed to support both casual play and higher-level competitive matches. To support members integrating the sport into their routines, the club is offering the following resources:

  • Equipment: Paddle rentals are available at the Sports Complex for those trying the game for the first time.
  • Instruction: The club provides introductory courses as well as personal and group coaching sessions.
  • Social Programming: The Sports & Recreation Department has launched "The Racquet Social Night: Tennis & Pickleball," designed to facilitate interaction and court time for members.

The dual expansion reflects the club's response to rising member engagement. While the golf simulator offers a technology-driven, weather-independent environment for golfers, the increased court capacity for pickleball provides a platform for both competitive intensity and the social interaction inherent in the sport.

Both facilities are currently operational and available to members.
